About
When the airplane carrying them crashes, four Indigenous children find themselves lost and alone in the Colombian Amazon jungle, where they must rely on their ancestral wisdom to survive as an unprecedented rescue mission unfolds.
From Oscar®-winning director Orlando von Einsiedel, with Colombian director Jorge Durán and British Peruvian director Lali Houghton, this documentary tells the incredible story from the points of view those involved in the epic rescue mission: the Colombian Army, Indigenous volunteer rescuers, and the children’s family.

The film is a life lesson, and another, and another. The State army and the Indigenous army, for a long time trapped in disagreement, joined together in a noble purpose, each with their knowledge and their methods, which shows that reconciliation is possible. That we can still mend, if we wanted to from the heart, these hearts broken by so much fermented rage… I propose that all politicians be locked in the same room to watch this documentary, without feeling obliged to give their opinion. We owe silence to each other. Before peace, may silence be with us as we begin the search for that Colombia that has been hidden in the confines of its ill will. The lost children are speaking to us... If you haven't seen this documentary, run to see it.
